Things to Consider When Sharing Kid Pics on Social Media

As a mom who uses social media to build my business, I have been challenged to consider what I am posting online, why I am posting it, and the impact it will have on my family. I am not alone in this. That is why I circled up with my friends Noelle Rhodes and Jess Carey to talk more about this.

In this episode you’ll hear:

  • What to consider when posting pictures of your kids on social media

  • How we use social media as content creators with families we like sharing about

  • How social media platforms are different

  • Questions to ask our kids to start the conversation about their thoughts on our social media

Key Points:

  • Make sure your kids are on board with what you are posting on social media

  • Set agreed-upon boundaries when it comes to posting on social media. It may be different for every family and that’s ok.

  • Don’t make decisions for your family out of fear.

  • We can’t control the internet but we can give our kids tools.

  • Before you post ask yourself, “Why am I showing up on social media?”
